Season 2
In the second season, Iroh and Zuko emerge safely out of unsuccessful attack by fire nation in the episode The Avatar State. In this episode, Aang is having nightmares of his destructive powers in avatar state. Zuko and Iroh are happy with the news of Zuko’s younger sister Azula’a visit. Aang and the gang are looking forward to earth kingdom to get support for defeating Fire nation. Zuko and Iroh also move to small earth kingdom for help. But the kingdom is already taken over by the fire nation.
In earth town Aang has to go through the trial for a crime committed in his previous incarnation and Katara and Sokka make efforts to save the good name of Avatar. Aang meets a blind girl Toph who is master in earthbending teacher and Aang convinces her to become his earth bending teacher. Zuko and Iroh choose different paths due to fight between them. Zuko, Iroh and Aang and the gang reach ba Sing Say and confront fire nation armies. In the same season tales of Ba Sing Se and Appa are also narrated. Azula’s disasterous plans for Ba Sing Se are revealed and everybody from Aang’s gang including Zuko and Iroh confront her.
The Best episodes- The Blind Bandit
Although five other episodes of same season earned the equally high ratings but this episode got more popularity due to introduction of a very interesting character Toph. She is a blind girl and belongs to the royal family of earth Kingdom. She is exceptionally good in earthbending. In this episode, Aang and the gang participate in an underground earthbending tournament. There Aang and Toph had a match and after observing her amazing earthbending techniques Aang decides to learn earthbending skills from her and asks her to become his teacher. Later in the episodes she teaches Aang about earthbending and travels with his gang.
