Season 1
The show got amazing ratings from the very first season and from the first episode, ‘The Boy in the Iceberg’. Here Katara and Sokka go for fishing and there they find an iceberg, in which Aang is encased. They release him and come to know that he is an Avatar. Later on they take him to their village where Aang creates a mess with his powers and blows up Fire Nation Trap. So the villagers exile him but later he saves the village from Fire Nation attack.
In the first season Aang goes to his favorite places of childhood like earth kingdom city of Omashu. There he gets new friends with earthbending skills and the king of Omashu makes Aang to meet a series of challenges and if Aang fails then Katara and Sokka will be immersed into crystal cocoon. Katara teaches Aang the waterbending.
Later the fire nation captures the three but a young man and his band of rebels rescue them. Aang goes to an old temple to speak with Avatar Roku, his ancestor about what should he do with fire nation? Prince zuko and Iroh indulge in fight with Lt Jee another firebender in search of avatar. Sokka and Katara get sick due to storm and Aang himself gets trapped while curing them.
In the last episodes, The Siege of North 1 and 2, Aang is in quest with fire nation to save the Northern water tribe.
The Best Episodes- The Siege of North 2
This episode of first season got the maximum ratings 9.7 in comparison with the rest of the episodes. As in the previous episode Aang goes into the spirit world and to combine all of his forces to save the Northern water tribe from the fire nation. But in the last episode when he returns from the spirit world he realizes that his seventh chakra is locked. Now the season leaves the viewers with the question whether northern eater tribe will be saved or not.
