Movie Adaptation Of ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Reaches the Editing Stage
Hey Lovers of Avatar: The Last Airbender, I’m back with a piece of news that will interest you. The news is that the awaited movie, The Last Airbender has reached its editing stage. Previously Frank Marshall, the producer of this movie had revealed that, a full trailer of this adapted movie would be released by Christmas. But what one of the film stars Asif Mandvi has said recently may make the producer’s assurance fall false.
According to him the director is usually “pulling his hair out of the editing room.” I know it’s sad that we might not be able to catch a glimpse of the movie this year if the actor’s revelations are true.

But we can’t blame Shyamalan as stressing out in the editing phase of the movie is quite normal. This becomes more relevant in case of Shyamalan as he has never handled such a big project earlier. The director is accustomed to directing small films which contain more if intimacy than the action. The Sixth Sense director has a lot of responsibility in this project as he has both written and directed it. I can well imagine the director reeling under pressure but also hopes that this doesn’t over power his creativity. The most exciting part is that the director hasn’t remained in much touch with the original animated series, Avatar: The Airbender. My whole sympathy is with the director. All the best to him for his first action flick.
All the fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to release. The first teaser released earlier has really heightened our expectations from this movie inspired from, Avatar: The Last Airbender. I really have butterflies in my stomach already, even when the movie is expected to release on July 2, 2010 about 9 months later. Hope the movie gets the similar
Response as was received by the animated TV series. I really can’t wait till the release of this movie.
