Fans unhappy with Avatar movie’s casting
As you all know that a movie based on Avatar the Last Airbender tv show is under production, but I have figured out that many among you are not happy with its casting. Most fans are thinking that the actors chosen for this M. Night Shyamalan’s movie do not suit their characters.

These comments clearly reflect that how closely you watch Avatar the Last Airbender episodes. You are saying that lead actors of this movie are not Asians, which is fully unjustified given that most of the characters you have seen on Avatar the Last Airbender have East Asian origins.
Noah Ringer, the actor who has been chosen to portray Aang, doesn’t even share a remote connection with Asia. Similar is the case with other actors chosen for this movie; they are also not having any connection with Asia.

I agree with your observations, but casting is a job which comes with a lot of responsibility and accountability, therefore these actors must have gone through a strict audition process before getting chosen for their respective roles. Moreover, Shyamalan is a very able director, so we can expect a fantastic movie from him.
Still the comments posted by you are really valuable. They show that there should be some link between the actor and character he/she plays on the screen.
