It’s been a while since we last saw the Airbenders in action, but coming fall, we’ll hopefully see them in action again.

Yes, Avatar: The Last Airbender is coming with its spinoff, called The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra!

Nickelodeon will air the series and currently show two seasons, with 13 episodes each.

The creators of the main Avatar series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have been roped in for the upcoming one. And they will also write all the episodes themselves, to ensure that we have a gripping show.

The series kicks off seven decades after the Avatar: The Last Airbender, and will boast a new location and new characters.

We’ll watch a new Avatar named Korra, and she is one rebellious character, we must say!

She is a fierce girl and belongs to the Southern Water tribe and is geared up to take on the world, with her mastery over techniques of bending.

So much talent at such a young age!

And we innocent people thought, that all this required years of practice!

Anyway, as she was born as a new Avatar after Aang, she is bound to have some special qualities.

Korra will learn the art of Air-bending from Tenzin, the youngest son of Aang and Katara.

The plot will pick up after the war, where Aang and Kuko have combined people from four different areas and form a Republic City, and Korra will be in charge of protecting the city from anti-benders and will also have Metalbendres police force of the city to aid her.

Hmm…all this sounds quite exciting and action packed, but we’ll have to wait till next fall.

Till then, we’ll have to console ourselves with Avatar: The Last Airbender download.

As one watches Mae Whitman and Lauren Graham on Parenthood, there are several instances when you have to remind yourself that they aren’t really mother and daughter. Call that the power of their abilities as actors, or the great chemistry that they share, but it really is one of the most believable relationships on our television sets.

When asked about when she clicked with Lauren, Mae says that she cannot remember an exact point when that happened, and feels as though she has had a great chemistry with Lauren, right since when they first met.

She goes on to gush about her relationship with her on-screen mom, saying that she really loves her, and that they share so much in common. Right from their sense of humor to the books that they read, Mae says that she and Lauren are very similar in many aspects.

Being together on a show that’s famous for encouraging improvisation by its cast members makes things even more exciting, and Mae says that she trusts Lauren enough to be able to experiment different things with her.

No wonder Lauren has gone on to become one of Mae’s best friends despite the age difference between them. Let’s just hope that we get to watch them together for many more seasons to come.

Talking of what she loves most about being an actress; Mae says that it is the fact that she gets to play live so many different lifetimes, without having faced their repercussions. Put that way, acting definitely sounds like a fun career!

As for Mae’s career, the most exciting thing on the cards now, is her upcoming film, ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’. Mae says that she is “really, really proud” of the movie.

We definitely can’t wait to watch this one! But until it releases you can treat yourself to one of Mae’s most ambitious projects as a voice actor, by getting an Avatar: The Last Airbender download.

Our favorite show Avatar: The Last Airbender’s sequel series, The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra, has been caught up in a web of delays for a long time now. The series of procrastination has not been all that pleasing for Avatar: The Last Airbender’s devotees, and quite obviously so.

The long gone season 3 of the show, has only left its addicted fans waiting for the ever so exciting sequel. The only option left for them was to catch the Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes, over and over again.

The sequel has reportedly suffered its third delay in line. The show was first expected to release in the fall of 2011. The dates were then pushed to summer of 2012.

And now, it is being rumored that the series will be making its fans wait, until 2013.

Yikes!

What is interesting is that there have been no concrete reasons for these delays.

According to some reliable sources, the delay is due to some technical and production related complications. And then there are some other sources that hint it towards the addition of 14 episodes to the series.

The series is expected to be aired with two seasons, consisting of 26 episodes in total. It is going to advance 70 years into the future and follow the female protagonist, Korra.

It would be setup in an evolved world of Avatar, in Republic City, which was setup by the Avatar hero, Aang, and the new king of Fire Nation, Zuko.

Korra will be a bold and rebellious girl, proficient at bending three elements - water, earth, and fire. She would later acquire the air bending talent from the son of Aang, Tenzin.

The powerful girl’s adventures would exhilarate you, especially with her combat against the Anti-bender’s clan, The Equalists.

Let’s hope the producers become more empathetic to the pain of the fans, and release the series with further delays.

Well, chill! I am here to satiate your thirst for the latest and most comprehensive information. Allow me to brush away the clinging doubts, or any vacillating thoughts.

He isn’t an actor. He is not a voice-over artist. No, he is not a director either.

Yet, he is very, very popular in his domain!

Sifu Kisu is a fighting instructor!

What did you just think?

Oh please! Guys! Can’t you just hold your minds from flying off into any odd direction?

Well, he isn’t the professional guiding the fighters of WWE; rather he is a martial arts consultant and instructor.

Every one of us has watched the Avatar The Last Airbender episodes, since the anime’s inception in the year 2005 on Nickelodeon.

We have admired and appreciated the fighting style, which has been adopted by the animated series, and therefore, all its credit must reach Sifu Kisu.

Commendable job done, Sifu!

He is well acquainted with many styles of martial arts, which makes him a versatile instructor and an ideal consultant. He blends different styles to give a balanced output.

Avatar: The Last Airbender was the project offered to Sifu, by one of his students, which he readily accepted, and takes pride in it now.

Sifu, after his contribution to this series, will now be seen instructing on the Kung Fu Panda movies as well.

I am sure, he will be able to deliver his best and mark his position on this franchise as well.

Mae Whitman, who we so dearly love to watch and hear, is going places these days! She arrived at the NBC Universal TCA 2011 Press Tour All-Star Party at the SLS Hotel lately, and she showed us a completely new avatar of hers!

In case you are wondering what it was… then here it is… she was seen sporting blond hair!

Oh yes, the beauty looked great! I mean the color suited her so much, it did not look for a minute that it was not her natural color!

I guess it must be in connection to one of her new roles. You see she has been quite busy lately…

She has just finished wrapping up her ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ The 23-year-old was working along with Logan Lerman and Emma Watson for this project. I bet that one would be worth a download!

Clearly you do not expect her to be doing just that, right? And you are right in expecting that, as she actually is dipped in work. Along with the film, she is also acting in NBC’s ‘Parenthood’, playing the role of Amber, and how can we forget that she lends her voice for some animation shows. Watch Avatar: The Last Airbender online and you would know what I mean (Wink!).

Starring in the big movie project and acting in these television shows, she came to the party looking like an absolute scorcher of a star! The confidence and that self assuredness was visible in her face; add to that the blonde look of hers… and oh my gawd… you would have been as speechless as I am right now!

Avatar: The Last Air Bender has always been up there with the top-notch series, whenever the question of concept and execution has come into play. Needless to say, when such a high level of performance has been set, one needs to be extra careful when extending the project one step forward.

I say this in connection to Gene Leun Yang, the man who has been selected to write the Graphic Novel for the series. He made this announcement himself on Tuesday through his blog, and ever since this has been announced, people cannot wait to see the proceedings shoot further; at least I know that I can’t!

As this book is going to be based on the television series and not on the movie, it is inevitable that the help of the creators of the show, Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino was taken. Yes, Yang is closely following up their work and is constantly in touch with them to make sure that the comic book does not stray away from the premise of the cartoon series.

We know whenever we go in for that Avatar: The Last Airbender download and go through it, we come to know that it is a fairly detailed series. Only an expert hand like that of Yang will be able to do justice to this anime, while translating it into a comic book.

Also, it is not the first time that Yang has decided to write an Avatar comic. It was the last year when the movie released that he came out with a web comic, in which he protested the casting of Caucasians for the roles derived from Asians.

Yang is credited for the creation of the ‘American Born Chinese’ and The Eternal Smile’ and he has also been the writer of ‘Level Up.’ Clearly, he was the right man for this post, and looks like he will do a pretty smashing job at coming out with an absolutely gripping comic book! We’ve all loved the series Avatar: The Last Airbender, ever since the series made its way onto our TV screens.

The way the creators have crafted the story of this fictional series is so enticing, that one just can’t help but continue to watch more of it, after enjoying each of its parts.

When the series first began, we came across the lead character named Aang, who was said to be the most recent form of the Avatar on Earth. The story also had it, that this character had been surrounded by a block of ice in a water body for over a century, before he made his appearance on land.

Soon after, Aang made his way to land, and there on, he started off with ending the war that had been prevalent, when he was not there.

Well, actress Mae Whitman, who voiced the character of Katara in the Avatar The Last Airbender episodes, is one person who understands the plight of the little kids on the set. Having started off her acting career at the age of six, with her first movie, ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’, in which she played Meg Ryan’s daughter, Mae definitely knows what it takes to be a child actor.

In a recent forum about why child actors don’t get their due share of appreciation, Mae, who’s now 23 said that she thinks that children in the acting profession often get overlooked and aren’t treated well, even though they are doing real work. Talking of her role in the show, ‘Parenthood’, where she plays a 16-year-old troubled teen, she says that it’s difficult for her to shrug off all her adult values and play someone 7 years younger than her.

She goes on to reveal how difficult it is for children to balance school work with a 12-hour long daily schedule. Talking of the perks of being an adult, Mae says that while she can go to her trailer and take a nap during a break, the child actors are stuck working on their school work during breaks, with their parents and guardians constantly looking after them, which she believes is extremely difficult.

Mae concluded by saying that she has immense respect for all the children that work with her, and that they should get their due share of appreciation.

Yes people, this is official! While it is true that Avatar The Last Airbender is making a comeback, it is also true that he will not return on TV.

Given the popularity of this show, I must admit that such a development does not come as a surprise!

So many times we watch Avatar The Last Airbender online and think only if the series could continue… Well, I guess god heard our prayers and now the action would start again!

The coveted comic books made their debut on the free comic book day, also known as the FCBD, which was held on 7th May, 2011. The comics were available for free, but only for that day. Now if you want to have them, you would have to pay a small price for them.

But hey! What are a few extra bucks for this amazing collection, eh? Not to mention the tons of entertainment that would accompany these books.

So, people get all set to lay your hands on this ever so amazing series. The only difference now is that instead of seeing it, you’ll have to read it.
